India-Pakistan Military Clash and Operation Sindoor
India and Pakistan experienced their most expansive military conflict in fifty years, initiated by Operation Sindoor, India's retaliation for a terror attack. The conflict included missile and drone strikes between the two nations.
Why This Matters
Military conflicts between two nuclear-armed nations have a profound impact on regional and global stability, capturing significant international and social media attention.
Public Sentiment Summary
Public opinion is largely supportive of India's military actions, driven by nationalistic pride and a perceived necessity to combat terrorism and assert national security through Operation Sindoor. While many commend India's decisive approach, there are concerns about civilian casualties, potential for larger conflict, and the political motivations behind the operation. Calls for accountability and improved security measures are also prevalent.

It's very easy to celebrate violence. While yes I agree that operation sindoor was necessary, I don't understand if we had the intel why wait for a terrorist attack to happen?
The strike was necessary. The strikes were against terrorist camps that our neighbours did nothing to stop.
